Full Description

VN94: An earth and stone mound,12 x 8m, standing to a maximum height of 2m, attached to a low, weathered bank, which runs from the present shoreline to an outcrop. It may be the embedded remains of a hut although it seems too large. The site is something of an enigma in terms of its function and date but on balance it seems likely to belong with other structures on this old storm-beach, and these appear to be relatively recent in date.

21. Tresivick (VN94)
earth adn stone mound
An oval mound of earth and stone, 12 x 8m, standing to 1m in height. In this location, it may have been much reduced by wave action in severe storms. Although no trace of wall structure could be seen, a site of this shape and size is more likely to be a house structure than a cairn.
