Full Description

NF60SE 23 683 034.

'At NF 683 034 a cairn of massive boulders, approx, 9.0m diameter and up to 1.5m high. Some of the boulders are of considerable size, up to 0.75m in some dimensions. The boulders appear to set as a kerb around the body of the mound which in its interior may possess a central chamber/cist, lacking a capstone, indicated by the setting of stones protruding up from the cairn material. The site lies on a gently west facing slope nearly at the head of a pass running E-W towards the N end of the island. Its form is unlike any of the other cairns I saw during fieldwork.'
Information from Bruce Dennison 1982.
