NF66SW 8 6204 6287.

Crois na Cuaig, a hillock near Hakinish on Ceann Iar, Heisker, is the probable sit of a cross.
E Beveridge 1911.

The most prominent hillock near Hakinish is a large, grass- covered sand dune at NF 6204 6287. It measures c. 50.0m N-S by c. 40.0m E-W by c.7.0m - 8.0m high, with a relatively flat top on which there is no evidence of a cross.
The name 'Crois na Cuaig' could not be associated with this dune, and the name itself is unknown locally.
