Full Description

NF66SW 9 centred 638 613.

(Area: NF 638 613) A symmetrical fragment of stone, evidently once forming part of a cross, was noticed outside a cottage at Ceann Ear, having been brought from Ceann Iar. It measures 13 x 7 x 5 ins, with a rectangular boss 3 ins wide extending across its centre and a slight hollow (2 3/4 ins in diameter) at one end.
E Beveridge 1911.

No trace of this cross fragment was found during field perambulation and no further information was found regarding it.
