OS 6"map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)

Dun an Duichal: the ruins of a dun,now a mass of tumbled stones, 4' above the water. A causeway to the west side of the loch was unconfirmed owing to the condition of the water.
RCAHMS 1928.

There is no trace of any feature on this island apart from the grass covered remains of a small rectangular building at its southern tip measuring 8.0 by 5.0 by 0.3m high. The causeway could not be located. Visited by OS (R D) 15 May 1965.
