OS 6" map, Inverness-shire, 2nd ed., (1904)
There was a chapel in the old burial ground at Kilbride but there were not traces of it in 1915. The Name Book (1878) notes that human remains were found when the offices for Kirbride House were built partly on the site.

The old burial ground at Kilbride is now a small pasture field. No traces of foundations or burials are to be seen.

20m E-W, 15m N-S, 0.5m depth of deposits, surveyed June 1995, pasture (back yard).
No pottery. Human skeletons found in 1980s by Patrick Morrison of 8 West Kilbride. The site of the church of Cille Bride. Although it is marked on the OS 1:10 000 map, the spot marked is too far to the west.
