NF71SE 3 unlocated.
Fragments of the blade of a double- edged Viking sword with bronze hilt, an iron spearhead, and a well-worn whetstone were dug up in the Island of Eriskay by the late Rev Macdonald. Shetelig states they were "from a man's grave" but gives no authority for this statement.

Local enquiries re the above finds proved negative.

EF 38: These Viking Finds date to the Norse period.
Impact Description: The location of this find spot is unclear, and it is not known whether associated remains could be affected.
