NF72NW 11 473 29.

Blundell notes an "artificial island" in Loch Ard Bornish, South Uist (In most cases, the sites he mentions are island duns with causeways to the loch shore.)
F O Blundell 1913.

The only island in Loch Bornish is at NF 733 294 and there is no trace of a dun on it or a causeway leading to it.
Visited by OS (R D) 9 May 1965.
