The burial ground is the supposed burial place of a Danish Princess called Aula or Olaff who was caught in a storm and blown to Uist.
Name Book 1878.

A chapel, formerly at Kilonlay, is listed.
Orig Paroch Scot 1854.

The site was confirmed by the present tenant of Kilaulay farm. There is no local knowledge of a chapel or its whereabouts. The limits of the burial ground are no longer traceable.
