Full Description

NF74NE 16 7583 4720.

NF 7583 4720. A midden was noticed at this point by a visitor. Her colour photographs show a substantial midden deposit exposed in section in the sand dunes at the edge of the beach. She has retained 25 or so small Iron Age body sherds found eroded from the desposit, and has presented to the NMAS a bone fish gorge and a small decorated sherd. Animal bone (mostly teeth) and shells were also found.
