The walls stand a few feet high.
Name Book 1878.
An oval heap of stones (35' E-W x 30' N-S), the remains of a dun. No structure found.
RCAHMS 1928.
Probably a crannog-type dun: the site comprises an oval grass-covered mound measuring 9.5m by 8.0m surviving to a height of 0.5m.
Revised at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (R B) 13 May 1965.
