Full Description

NF74SE 750 400 13 (unlocated).

A 2nd century Roman trumpet brooch of Collingwood's Sii type was found in 1956 by a workman when filling in excavations carried out by the Ministry of Works in Benbecula and South Uist, on sites lying within the area of the projected rocket range (see NF74SE 11).
The exact site from which it came is not known.
