NF74SE 6 7563 4072.

(NF 7563 4072) An earth-house, with ancillary buildings was excavated at Drimore, Sout Uist, for the Ministry of Works.
A souterrain 25ft long, 3ft wide and about 3ft deep was the main feature. Small chambers or cells adjoined the steps leading out of it. Pottery and bone objects including whalebone, found together with midden material were donated to NMAS.

The site of the earth-house is visible as a partially filled excavation with a scatter of boulders. No definite outline is traceable.
