NB46SE 27.03 4863 6200

A single unroofed building, one unroofed structure and some lengths of field-wall which may represent an early phase of land division are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1853, sheet 3), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1992).
Comparison with other townships in Lewis might suggest that these are the remains of the pre-improvement settlement.
