A farmstead, comprising three unroofed buildings and three enclosures and a head-dyke are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 4), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

SABS 36: Allt a'Ghearraidh farmstead shown on 1st edition map (1853)

This farmstead is considerably eroded, but a suite of remains is still visible and includes house sites, eroded structures and relict field and enclosure walls.
