What may be a township, comprising nine unroofed buildings or structures and fourteen enclosures some of which may be water meadows, and two unroofed buildings, five enclosures and a field-system are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). They are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
