Formerly NB45NW 49.

A crofting township, comprising four roofed buildings, one unroofed building and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). This may represent a period ofexpansion of Five Penny Borve with a new crofting settlement laid to the W of the orginal crofting township. The buildings are rectangular and do not display the planform shown in the earilier crofting township.
Seventeen roofed, two partially roofed buildings, one unroofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
