NB45NW 48.0
A linear crofting township, comprising thirty roofed buildings, seven of which are annotated as ruins, twenty-eight unroofed buildings and thirty-three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). This may have replaced earilier settlements (see NB45NW 48.01 - .06).
Ninety-eight roofed, twenty-four unroofed buildings, enclosures and a large crofting field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
