A crofting township, comprising forty-seven roofed and twelve unroofed structures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 7). Thirteen roofed buildings, one partially roofed and one unroofed building are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
The NE end of this site is overlain by NB24NE 24.05.
