A township, comprising twelve roofed, fifteen unroofed buildings, twenty-one enclosures some of which may be unroofed buildings and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 7). The site is overlain by a later crofting township and field-system, comprising nineteen roofed, ten unroofed and nineteen enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
